    CEO

    Brian is a leading expert in the control and management of electrical systems used in offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities. He has spent over 20 years providing training and consultancy services to the sector.

    He developed PFC’s unique high-fidelity Generation and Distribution simulator, used throughout PFCs training portfolio.

    Scott

    Human Factors Specialist

    Scott has always been interested in studying what makes people tick.

    Coupled with a background of working offshore, his experience as a lecturer in Psychology and Sociology, and his Masters degree in Ergonomics and Human Factors from the University of Nottingham, means that he really understands the people he trains in non-technical skills, and the environments in which they operate.

    Lauren

    Health & Safety Advisor

    Lauren specialises in Health and Safety. With over six years’ experience in the field, she also has a background in information technology and her dual experience is central to both the training and consultancy services PFC provides.

    A Technical Member of the Institute of Occupational safety and Health (IOSH), Lauren is undertaking an MSc in Safety and Risk Management at Heriot Watt University.

    Rhona

    Business Manager

    Rhona’s interests lie in how we operate in the workplace. With a degree in Sociology from the University of Aberdeen, Rhona consolidated this interest with an MSc in Human Resource Management from Robert Gordon University.

    A member of CIPD, Rhona spent several years honing her HR skills across the oil and gas industry, before joining PFC in 2008 as Business Manager.

    Emily

    Human Factors Advisor

    Emily is a graduate from the University of Aberdeen and has always been interested in the ways in which Psychology can be applied to industry and workplaces. This has been focused recently on non-technical skills in accident investigations.

    Emily has recently completed her MSc in Applied Ergonomics and Human Factors, with distinction, from the University of Nottingham.

The Team
