PFC Electrical have developed, reviewed and updated Electrical Safety Rules and Procedures for several clients operating in the UK and overseas Oil & Gas Sector.

PFC Electrical have developed, reviewed and updated Electrical Competency systems for several clients operating in the UK Oil & Gas Sector.

Electrical Competency Assessments

PFC Electrical have conducted electrical assessments on clients’ facilities both offshore and onshore throughout the world.

 

Electrical Training

PFC Electrical provide comprehensive training in the following topics:

High Voltage Power Systems Operations (HV Switching). This course utilises our bespoke Electrical Generation & Distribution Simulator. Using the simulator allows delegates to carry out switching and isolation exercises in a safe but challenging environment.

Power System Protection Relays. This course utilises our bespoke Electrical Generation & Distribution Simulator. Using the simulator allows delegates to interrogate protection relays, adjust settings and determine and locate reason for relay tripping. 

Responsible Electrical Person (REP). This course is designed for electrical personnel who are already acting as an REP, or are working towards this role. The course provides technical and non technical training. This course utilises our bespoke Electrical Generation & Distribution Simulator where the course delegates are subjected to challenging scenarios.

Electricity at Work Regulations (EWR). This course provides a comprehensive overview of the EWR and the legal obligations placed on employers and employees who use and maintain electrical equipment in the workplace.
