Aims and Objectives


To enhance the skills and competence of Responsible Electrical Persons to enable them to effectively manage electrical activities:

  • Conduct the control and management of electrical power distribution systems
  • Comprehend the role and responsibilities of a Responsible Electrical Person (in line with Oil & Gas UK guidelines)
  • Demonstrate assessment of the competency of electrical personnel
  • Implement non-technical skills during technical activities
  • Evaluate the impact of non-technical skills on safety and effective performance
